I want to make work audiences don't have to pretend to enjoy.
I like belly laughs, sing-alongs and public weeping.
The rooms I run are joyful, inclusive, relaxed, and prioritise a sense of play. I am equally comfortable working with other experienced theatremakers and people entirely new to performance. Through developing trust and encouraging creativity, I get good work out of my collaborators - inventive, engaging, deeply human work.
Theatre is at its best when it's accessible, honest, challenging and fun. I know too many people who think that theatre is "not for them". In my experience, they've been made to feel that way by A Bad Show. It's for everyone, and I am devoted to proving that through my work.
